Carnivore

Meat and eggs thats it!

-What's Carnivore all about-

The carnivore diet is a diet in which you only consume meat and eggs. That’s it. No vegetables. No fiber. No sugar. No nothing. It may sound crazy but it has its root in the history of our species. There are many cultures including the Inuit, Masai of Africa, the Tokelau of Polynesia and others that live almost exclusively on meat products. These cultures are usually extremely healthy and don’t suffer from the diseases of western civilization, such as cancer, diabetes, dementia, arthritis or Crohn's disease. As stated in other posts, we recommend listening to your body. You may be surprised how much meat you can eat in a day. It’s not uncommon for people to eat upwards of 6-8 lbs of meat in one day, along with 8-16 eggs. If that’s what your body’s telling you, then listen to it. Don’t be afraid of over eating. Once your body is replenished, it will tell you to stop eating. Some people incorporate organ meats into their regimens. But we don’t believe eating organ meats is necessary in order to thrive on this specific meal plan. Eating nothing but ribeyes and boiled eggs works just fine.

Ruminants Should make up the bulk of your diet

Ruminants like cows, goats and sheep are packed full of essential fatty acids and amino acids making them the most nutrient dense food on the planet

Eat all the eggs

Eggs are packed full of vitamins, minerals and cholesterol, making them a great option to support your natural hormone production

Don't Worry about vitamin c

The need for Vitamin C is greatly reduced on a meat based diet. Therefore, the 10mg of Vitamin C per pound of ruminant flesh is more than enough to thrive

Limit meat high in linoleic acid

Chicken and Pork are both good options for a quality protein source however, they’re higher in the omega 6 fat linoleic acid compared to beef, so they shouldn’t be the backbone of your carnivore diet
