I’ve always struggled with my weight. I’ve tried all kinds of “diets” to try and get a handle on it. I’ve yo-yo’d back and forth more times than I’d like to admit, but I’ve never felt healthy. On the occasion that l might have been able to lose some weight, I would inevitably fall off track and balloon back to where I was or higher. The first picture was at my sister’s wedding. I remember being mortified to see it on social media. How had I let myself get so big and unhealthy? What am I teaching my kids about healthy eating habits? The second picture was at my brother’s wedding. I felt better, but hungry! I worked really hard to lose some weight to fit into my bridesmaid dress. I worked out multiple times a week, measured everything I ate, felt deprived, and hungry often, which is why after his wedding I put the weight back on, plus some more. I was on track to being diabetic and definitely not demonstrating how to be healthy to my kids. I wanted to stop the cycle.
I was feeling defeated, unhealthy, tired all the time, and just generally fed up with failing. I wanted to be able to run with my kids at the park. I wanted my kids to see me making healthy choices. But, I needed convincing. I needed to know that this would work.
Tyson’s program not only worked, it surpassed my expectations. He provided me with the tools and information I needed to be successful in my healthy weight loss journey. He held me accountable and pushed me harder and further than I thought possible. I went from struggling to walk a mile, to running my first 10k. I have the energy to keep up with my kids. I feel stronger and healthier than ever. If you had told me I would be where I am today before I started this journey, I would have laughed out loud. Never in my dreams would I have thought I could be here feeling this good today.
I am so thankful for Tyson’s guidance, for pushing me and for convincing me to take back my health.
