In this week’s podcast, we take a look into the metabolic effects of eating Doritos. Doritos consist of highly processed corn meal, cooked in industrial seed oils, and are covered in the carcinogen, glyphosate. On top of that, they contain chemical flavor additives that trick our brain into thinking it’s eating a whole taco with all the associated nutrients. However, the Doritos only provide nutrients in the form of fast acting carbs. This will lead the body to over indulge on these foods in the hope of eventually finding some actual nutrients.
