My name is Michelle. Throughout my life, I’ve gained weight little by little so I never noticed it. I was always able to “hide my weight well” under my clothes. It wasn’t until I went through a really rough patch in my life that I began to notice. I didn’t fit into anything I owned anymore and felt extremely uncomfortable in my own skin. My emotions controlled what I consumed and how much. I knew with whatever that was happening in my life, I always “ate my feelings away.” In my eyes, I just always had a very unhealthy relationship with food. It was a vicious cycle of being insecure about how I looked, comparing myself to what I thought was the “perfect body”, being sad about it and then eating my feelings away. I didn’t know how to break it. I always loved lifting weights/working out, but I was never consistent. I tried so many diets, but I could never stick to any of them.
When I started working with Tyson, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I received a customized meal plan and followed what he wanted me to do week by week. He checked in on me multiple times a day to see how I was doing with the diet, meal prepping, daily stressors, etc. To hold me accountable, I would send pictures of my meals to him and if there was anything that needed to be changed he would let me know. If I had any questions about what I could or could not eat, why this or that was good/bad for me, or just any health or fitness questions at all I could easily ask him. He would break it down in a way where I could totally understand.
After I got my meals in check, he incorporated a work out plan for me to start. It was super simple and easy to follow. He had goals for me to reach every week and it pushed me to do better each time I was at the gym. Every few months, my work out routine would change so I never got bored or tired of doing the same thing.
I was determined to reach my goals and be mentally and physically healthy no matter what I had to do. As time went on, I started seeing results which made me incredibly happy and proud of myself. Seeing all these improvements made me more motivated to work even harder. Fast forward to now, I am definitely feeling and looking the best I have for as long as I can remember. My lifestyle has changed for the better and I am more conscious about what I put in my body. I learned how to destress in a healthy way and not “eat my feelings away.” My self confidence has been built and it’s only going up. I definitely have bigger goals to reach now, but I know for sure they will all be accomplished.
Working with Tyson completely changed my lifestyle and habits. He is very knowledgable on nutrition and fitness which are the things he’s most passionate about. He pushes you to do your best because he knows what you are capable of. He is your nutritionist, fitness coach, and biggest hype man all in one. You couldn’t ask for a better person to help guide you to your goals.
