I have been battling being overweight for probably the last 8 years or more. I would try to do Weight Watchers and at first, it would help me lose some weight, maybe like 20lbs or so in a couple months. But let me tell you honestly….it SUCKED!!! Eating lean meats like turkey and chicken breasts, buying veggies and fruits and making smoothies, eating fake shitty dessert alternatives; I was soooo hungry all the time and it was miserable. My husband and I were both struggling on and off. We were going by the SAD (Standard American Diet) guidelines. We finally wanted to do some research of our own and truly get control of our health again. Our friend Tom Nelson opened our eyes to the true way of eating. We started this journey in January 2019. I was pregnant at the time, but was struggling with way too much weight gain and just feeling like crap. Here we are now in July 2019 and my husband has dropped 60lbs and I have lost 43lbs. Overall, we feel amazing. Energy levels are high, no digestion issues, we sleep really well at night, no body aches or pains, skin redness and acne cleared up, and no more brain fog. Our overall health has improved with this way of eating. My recovery from having my son has been awesome, and I seriously cannot believe how good I feel. I’m turning 30 this year 😮 and honestly I am thrilled lol!!! I still have 37lbs to go for my goal weight, but that comes secondary to the way my mind and body are feeling. TNT Wellness and Nutrition also have great podcasts to listen to. I am not trying to sell you anything, I am truly here to spread the word to help you be the healthiest you! Open your mind to this and give it a chance- you won’t regret it. The SAD diet is outdated, and calorie counting sucks!!!! I am full and happy with what I eat every day! It is the best feeling to not crave processed foods, sugar, and bad carbs.

I also want to be clear that this is not some type of gimmick diet plan. This is not a Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig type of plan. This is simply a better and healthier way of eating for the rest of your life. It’s real information about the foods we eat and the science behind it; foods we have been taught about our entire lives that are supposedly “good for you” are actually the opposite and have negative effects on our bodies and health.
